Capability building workshop
THE CHALLENGE
The ACT Government was looking to further implement their recent Innovation Framework and strategy, as well as build capability in their teams to solve current challenges in more innovative and user-centred ways.
THE RESULT
The workshop was high energy and received very positive feedback. Participants left with new understanding of innovative mindsets and methodologies, and ideas that were ready to implement in their everyday work. Importantly, they also had a greater appreciation of their colleagues and their colleagues’ skills.
THE APPROACH
I, supported by several facilitators, delivered a 1-day workshop for 100 staff. The session began with an interactive team building to put participants into an innovative mindset, and to get to know each other better and solve workplace scenarios. The workshop then introduced behavioural design and gamification methodology, which participants applied to current workplace challenges.
